The first face people see and the reason the studio runs on time. The front desk and studio operations role keeps the studio running: you greet every member by name, check them in, get the floor set for the next class and reset after it, and open or close the studio on your shifts.
What you will do
It is a people job with an operations spine. Membership sales has its own role; this one is about the experience inside the studio.
- Greet and check in every member, and make trial visitors and new members feel at home.
- Set up the floor before class and reset it after, with the coach.
- Open the studio on morning shifts and close it on evening shifts, working the checklist every time.
- Keep the studio clean, stocked and presentable: floor, bathrooms, front desk, retail.
- Help members with bookings, waivers and InBody scan appointments in Mindbody.
- Pitch in on studio events and fundraisers.
What you need
- Reliable and punctual: an open at dawn and a close at night both depend on you showing up.
- Comfortable closing the studio on your own.
- Friendly, organized and calm when a class lets out and the next one is arriving.
- Customer service experience preferred; interest in fitness a plus.
- Dependable transportation for early and late shifts.
- 18 or older and authorized to work in the United States.
