The Membership Sales Advisor is the person who answers them fast, gets them into a first class, and helps them choose the membership that fits their goal.
What you will do
This role is sales and community, not front desk operations: the floor, the opens and the closes have their own role.
- Follow up with every inbound lead the same day, by text, call and email, and get them booked into a first class.
- Run goal-oriented consultations with trial visitors and members, and present the right membership for the goal.
- Generate leads locally: networking, community events, tent sign-ups, business partnerships.
- Work daily, weekly and monthly goals with the studio manager, and know where you stand every week.
- Train in the classes yourself: the people you talk to are in the same classes.
- Promote the studio on social media and be its biggest advocate in town.
What you need
- A year or more of sales or customer-facing experience, in fitness or retail ideally.
- Comfortable following up by phone and text, every day, with people who have not answered yet.
- Strong writing: most first conversations happen in a text thread or an email.
- A real interest in fitness and in helping people change how they live.
- Organized and goal-driven in a fast-paced studio; flexible availability including evenings and weekends.
- 18 or older and authorized to work in the United States.
